Hi, I'm Mrs T.
I'm really glad you're here.
I created The Pages Between because I've learned that life isn't only made up of the big chapters. So much of who we become happens in the pages between them—the ordinary mornings, the unexpected phone calls, the prayers whispered when nobody else is listening, the laughter that comes at completely inappropriate times, and the moments that change us before we even realize we're changing.
My life has been anything but perfectly written.
I'm a wife, a mother, an auntie, a construction project manager, a writer, a woman of faith, an unapologetic coffee drinker, and someone who has lived through enough unexpected plot twists to know better than to assume I know what the next chapter holds. I've walked through childhood wounds, complicated relationships, marriage, motherhood, mental-health struggles, loving someone through addiction and recovery, family crises, career changes, heartbreak, forgiveness, boundaries, and seasons when simply getting through the day felt like an accomplishment.
I've also experienced tremendous love. I've laughed until I couldn't breathe. I've watched prayers be answered in ways I never expected. I've discovered strength I didn't know I had. I've learned that sometimes hope looks less like a grand revelation and more like getting up the next morning, pouring another cup of coffee, and trying again.
And through all of it, my faith in Jesus Christ has become the foundation beneath my feet. That doesn't mean I always understand what God is doing. I don't. It doesn't mean I have perfect faith, a perfect marriage, a perfect family, or perfect answers. I definitely don't. It means I've learned that God meets us in the messy places too.
Why The Pages Between?
For a long time, I thought the difficult parts of my life were things I needed to survive before I could get back to the "real" story. I've come to realize they were the story too.
That's what this place is about.
I'll talk about addiction and recovery here because they've profoundly affected my family. I'll talk about what it's like to love someone while learning that love and boundaries can exist at the same time. I'll advocate for people struggling with addiction to be treated with dignity—and for the families who love them to be seen, too.
But this isn't an addiction website.
Because my life isn't only about addiction.
We'll talk about faith. Marriage. Family. Work. Relationships. Healing. Ordinary days. Hard conversations. Things I'm learning. Things I'm still trying to figure out. And occasionally the completely ridiculous moments that make you wonder whether God gave us humor specifically because He knew how weird life was going to get.
I'm not inviting you here because I have all the answers. I'm inviting you because sometimes what we need most isn't another person telling us what to do. Sometimes we just need someone beside us saying, "I've been through some things too. You can sit with me."
So pull up a chair.
Bring your story.
I'll put the coffee on.
Where memories become stories. Where tears and laughter sit at the same table. Where weird is embraced. Coffee is mandatory. Snacks are strongly encouraged.
Come as you are. Stay awhile.
